Red Button & Mosaic Channels Page
Ever noticed the Red Button on Astro's remote control? Well, this button does wonders!
By pressing the Red Button on the remote control, you'll notice an overlay pop-up appearing on the screen.
These pop-ups may contain information, pictures or could direct you to a page or even 'surf' various sections, pages, channel(s) or videos. Use the remote control to navigate these features.
The Red Button service is absolutely FREE and it gives you all sorts of interactive content like Akademi Fantasia 8 on Astro Ria (Channel 104), Oasis Info Solat on Astro Oasis (Ch 106), Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant on Astro Wah Lai Toi (Channel 311), Discovery Shark Week on Discovery Channel (Channel 551), festive promotions and lots more!

World Cup Mosaic
World Cup mosaic is the window to the world of World Cup. It combines 4 channels, stats report, games and chat all in 1 channel (Channel 810).
Akademi Fantasia 8
With Akademi Fantasia Red Button on Astro Ria (channel 104), home viewers can get the latest information of the programme, contestants and the most exciting is the latest vote standing of the contestants. What’s more? AF8 Red Button also offers viewers 24 hours chat service during AF8 season among themselves and with the eliminated AF8 contestants!
Raja Lawak 4
Astro Raja Lawak 4 is one of most famous Malay programme on Astro Prima (channel 105) having the renowned SEPAH as the 3rd season’s winner. By having Red Button for this programme, viewers can always be updated with info of the programme, contestant, latest vote standing of the contestant. In 4th season, Red Button allowed viewers to chat via Red button with the contestant and other chatters!
Chinese New Year 2009
During the Chinese New Year festive period, the ‘R’ button service on Astro AEC becomes the 1 stop information menu. It allowed audiences to find out daily CNY programs available across all Astro channels; CNY mobile ringtones sung by our well known My.fm deejays and Astro host and other exciting interactive activities like SMS greetings and contests.
Jeyikalaam Vangga 2008
Astro Vellithirai (Channel 202) celebrated Merdeka month having Jeyikalaam Vaangge Question & Answer SMS Contest running for 15 days. Daily questions are promoted in TV commercials. ‘R’ button displayed questions of previous dates allowing home viewers the chance the answer the questions they missed out. The contest and ‘R’ button ended on the Merdeka Day itself.
